Paddle Boarding & Kayaking
The mornings are a perfect time to take out the stand up paddle boards or kayaks. The calm glassy waters are perfect to get around and check out the bay.
Kurt N Marina’s has 2 stand up paddle boards (SUP) and 2 kayaks free for guests to use.
Mountain Biking
There are a lot of trails to ride in the La Ventana area. One of them is the Quail Trail which winds through cactus on a twisty single track path. Take along a friend who has ridden in the area or bring your GPS as there are lots of intersecting trails and roads that lead to dead ends. Ask around in the main campground just north of Kurt N Marina’s – they often have scheduled rides (easy, intermediate, and advanced) three days a week.
Note: “slime” tubes in your tires help reduce the chance of flat tires!

Diving & Snorkeling
There are several places around LaVetana Bay to dive or snorkel. Check out Punta Gorda, La Bufadora, Bahia de Los Suenos, to name a few. Near La Paz you can snorkel with whale sharks or dive with sea lions, dolphins and more! Local boat charters and outfitters are usually flexible with departures and length of trips.
Some local dive shops can guide you on the best dives in the area. See sea lions, bait balls, walls, pinnacles, whales, dolphins, and more!
Yoga
There are several nearby locations offering yoga classes from Ashtanga yoga to Kundalini.
